FT 2008 Anchorage
The 11th International Conference on Thermochronology was held from 15-19 September 2008 at the Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage, Alaska. For 30 years this conference has played a key role in bringing the international community of researchers together to focus on methods, practice, and applications of fission-track dating, helium dating, and other allied techniques.
FT2008 had approximately 140 participants, which includes a number of USGS geologists from the Anchorage office who were invited to attend the special session on Alaskan Tectonics.
